Dr. Mark A. Wheeler, DMD

Mark A. Wheeler, DMD, graduated from Wake Forest University before attending Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. After completing a residency in Periodontics, Dr. Wheeler served four years in the United States Army in Landstuhl, Germany. Dr. Wheeler is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, World Clinical Laser Institue and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Wheeler was selected by 5280 Magazine as a top periodontist in Denver in 2009-2011. Dr. Wheeler and his wife, Mary, have lived in Denver for 25 years. They have two daughters. In their free time Dr. Wheeler and his wife enjoy golf and traveling.

Dr. Michael J. Scheidt, DDS, MS

Dr. Scheidt received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry graduating cum laude in 1971. He completed graduate training in Periodontics at the United States Army Institute of Dental Research in Washington D.C. and has a Masters degree in Oral Biology from The George Washington University. Dr. Scheidt taught Periodontics in several General Dentistry programs and is currently teaching at the Denver VA Medical Center. Dr. Scheidt served as the director of the US Army Periodontics residency program at Fort Gordon, Georgia and was Commander for the Dental Activities at Fort Benning, Georgia and Berlin, Germany. Dr. Scheidt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a fellow of the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has been in partnership with Dr. Mark Wheeler since 1997, and is listed in the 5280 Magazine's 2008-2011 Top Dentists of Colorado. He is a past President of the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and lives in Westminster with his wife, Kathryn.
